Man Arrested With Guns, Fake Passes at Trump Rally
A man from Las Vegas was apprehended on Saturday at a security checkpoint near former President Donald Trump’s rally in Coachella, California. The arrest came after law enforcement officials discovered he was carrying multiple firearms.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release on Sunday detailing the incident. Vem Miller, aged 49, was found to be “illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine.”
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco shared with the Press-Telegram that Miller had attempted to gain access to the event by presenting fake VIP and press passes at the checkpoint.
“We probably stopped another assassination attempt,” Bianco remarked.
The deputies, who were stationed at the rally, encountered Miller in a black SUV at the checkpoint. Upon inspection, they found several handguns in his possession. Miller was subsequently taken into custody without any incident, as the press release confirmed.
After his arrest, Miller was booked at the John J. Benoit Detention Center. The charges against him include possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
Fox News’s Bill Melugin reported on Sunday that “Sources close to the Trump campaign tell Fox News there was no assassination attempt against Trump at his Coachella, CA rally yesterday. We’re told a man with a gun was arrested at the perimeter of the event without incident.”
This incident follows previous threats against the former president. During a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024, Trump experienced an assassination attempt when a shooter opened fire from a nearby rooftop, injuring Trump with a bullet that grazed his right ear.
Additionally, on September 15, 2024, another individual, Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested after U.S. Secret Service agents spotted the barrel of his AK-style rifle while he was hiding in the bushes near Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach.

FBI Arrests Michigan Man for Threatening Trump’s Christian Supporters
A Michigan man has been taken into custody by the FBI following allegations of making threats to kill conservative Christians if Donald Trump secures another election victory. This arrest underscores the ongoing tensions surrounding political and religious affiliations in the United States.
The Justice Department announced that the FBI National Threat Operations Center received a menacing online message on November 2. This led to an investigation that traced the threat back to Isaac Sissel, a 25-year-old from Michigan, through phone records and an IP address.
Sissel faces a serious charge of making a threatening interstate communication, a felony that could result in a five-year prison sentence if he is found guilty.
Court documents reveal that Sissel expressed strong opinions about former President Trump and his supporters. According to the documents, Sissel believes Trump poses a significant danger that has not been adequately addressed by progressives and liberals. He allegedly feels that violence might be the only solution to counter Trump’s influence and that of his Christian supporters.
The criminal complaint states:
“Sissel … stated that former President Trump was a threat, a ‘piece of s***’ that should have been assassinated, and that everything would be better if Trump was dead.”
While Sissel claimed he would not personally harm Trump, he reportedly mentioned that he would not interfere if someone else attempted to do so.
“Sissel said that he hated conservative Christians, who he enjoyed threatening.”
In discussions with authorities, Sissel also mentioned that he might consider joining Antifa protests against the election results. His online presence further corroborates these threats, with social media accounts under names such as “ShootUpTrumpRally,” “PlanningToShootTrump,” and “WillShootTrumpSoon.”

Tragic Florida Officer’s Death Unveils Dark Plot and Shocks Community
In a tragic incident that has left a Florida community in shock, Orange County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Eloilda “Ellie” Shea was allegedly shot and killed by her estranged husband. The suspect, Anthony Shea, reportedly attempted to disguise the crime as a suicide.
Authorities discovered Lieutenant Shea’s body with a gunshot wound to the head on Monday afternoon at a residence on El Prado Avenue. Initially, the circumstances seemed to indicate a suicide.
“At the time, we responded to those inquiries with the information we had, which was that the call appeared to be a suicide,” the sheriff’s office stated. However, further investigation revealed a more sinister truth.
The arrest report, as covered by Fox 35, indicates that Anthony Shea, a former sergeant with the same sheriff’s office, was responsible for the fatal shooting. He allegedly tried to cover up his actions by making the scene look like a suicide.
Anthony Shea was taken into custody on Friday and charged with first-degree murder with a firearm. He is currently held in the Orange County Jail without the possibility of bond.
The couple’s relationship had been tumultuous. “We had a bad night last night, arguing about my affair,” Anthony Shea reportedly admitted. He resigned from his position in August amid an internal investigation related to allegations of misconduct, including having an affair and engaging in inappropriate conduct while on duty.
Lieutenant Ellie Shea, who joined the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in 2011, is remembered fondly by her colleagues. “Ellie cared deeply about this agency and the work we do, and I considered her a rising star,” Sheriff John Mina expressed in a heartfelt statement.
The loss has been profoundly felt within the department. “We have all struggled this week with feelings of shock, grief and guilt while we tried to make sense of Ellie’s death, which was meant to appear as a suicide,” Sheriff Mina continued. He also commended the dedication of the homicide detectives who handled the challenging task of investigating a colleague’s murder.
The tragedy extends beyond the department, as Ellie leaves behind two young daughters. Sheriff Mina poignantly remarked, “It’s devastating to know we will never again be on the receiving end of Ellie’s kindness or warm smile. We pray for her two girls, the rest of her family, and all of those who love her.”

Squirrel’s Fate Sparks Outrage: Social Media Erupts
Peanut the Squirrel, a cherished pet and social media star, has ignited a storm of reactions online following its death at the hands of New York state officials. This incident has not only drawn significant attention but also sparked a wave of memes and messages across social media platforms.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) recently confiscated Peanut along with a raccoon named Fred from Mark Longo’s home and animal sanctuary in Pine City, near the Pennsylvania border. The DEC acted on complaints regarding the illegal keeping of wildlife and subsequently euthanized the animals, much to the dismay of Longo and Peanut’s extensive online following of over 550,000.
“President Trump will save the squirrels,” tweeted Elon Musk, accompanied by an image of Peanut perched on Longo’s shoulder.
The internet’s reaction was swift and varied. Some users humorously compared the situation to the plot of the movie “John Wick,” while others expressed outrage over the DEC’s decision to euthanize the animals to test for rabies. Under state law, owning a wild animal requires a license, and Longo was reportedly in the process of obtaining certification for educational purposes.
Peanut’s online presence was formidable, with an Instagram page showcasing playful interactions with Longo and other animals at “P’Nut’s Freedom Farm,” the sanctuary inspired by the squirrel. Longo had rescued Peanut after witnessing its mother being hit by a car, and the squirrel became inseparable from the couple.
In a heartfelt interview with TMZ, Longo recounted the traumatic raid on his home, describing the experience as devastating.
“It’s not only torn my family apart, but Peanut was the cornerstone of our non-profit animal rescue,” he stated, adding that the raid involved “10 to 12 DEC officers” and left him feeling criminalized.
Authorities conducted a thorough search of Longo’s property, which he described as invasive and excessive.
“They got a search warrant. Four departments and a judge signed off on a search warrant for a squirrel and a raccoon,” Longo lamented.
The New York State Police referred inquiries to the DEC, which has yet to respond publicly. In a poignant Instagram video, Longo held a framed drawing of Peanut, expressing his grief and gratitude.
“Peanut was the best thing that ever happened to us,” he said tearfully.
“RIP MY BEST FRIEND. Thank you for the best seven years of my life,” he wrote in a caption, reflecting on the joy Peanut brought to their lives.
